Based on the unforgettable ode to the greatest game on ice, The Hockey Song is a perfect gift for the hockey fans and young players in your life.
Oh! The good ol’ hockey game is the best game you can name.
And the best game you can name is the good ol’ hockey game.
Played before, after, and during hockey games across North America, Stompin’ Tom Connors’ iconic song evokes the pure joy the good ol’ hockey brings to players and fans alike. Gary Clement’s illustrations bring the song to life through depicting a pick-up game on a cold city rink. A father and son are soon joined by skater after skater, until the whole community is grabbing a stick—passing, shooting, scoring, and having the time of their lives.
A fresh take on a classic song, The Hockey Song is a tribute to hockey, winter, and having fun with the best game you can name.
